Lioness is a work that has lived in my mind for a long time. I wanted to capture a woman’s balanced strength and quiet, enduring courage in a sculpture that carries its power with calm rather than noise. The black lines running through the piece mark the bonds of life, while the spikes symbolize protection. Inspired by the queen of the savannah, the lioness, the sculpture holds both determination and presence. Struggle is a necessity, but it is carried with dignity and without the need to be shouted. Lioness is conceived as a work that is not loud or grand, but deep, enduring, and protective. An image of the quiet strength that holds and guards.
Savannah is a series of sculptural works inspired by the grandeur of the savannah and the powerful beauty found in its open landscapes. The collection explores the cycle of life — beginnings, transformation, and renewal — reflecting nature’s constant motion, where all life is connected in a cycle that continues through time and space.
